Softball team splits first home doubleheader

The Eastern softball team split their first home doubleheader against SIU-Edwardsville Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Williams Field in Charleston, Ill. The games marked the women’s first home games of the season. The first game was a 0-4 loss with both teams scoreless until the ninth inning when SIUE was able to score four runs securing their victory over the Panthers.

Eastern was able to take the win over the Cougars in the following game. The Panthers were able to score two runs in the second inning and another two in the fourth. The final score was 4-1.

    These are great! You have a gift for the sports photo. I really like the shot of the girl walking back to the dugout. Very cool.

    Wish I could shoot like that.
