Monday’s women’s basketball game against UT Martin was one of the more exciting games this semester in terms of photography. I can usually come away from a game with a few good reaction photos, but yesterday seemed like a gold mine. It’s always exciting covering a game that keeps you on your toes, and I think I came out of the game with some decent photos. After looking at the photos, it also looked like some lights were replaced in Lantz Arena because the lighting was better than usual. With only about three more months until I graduate from Eastern, the job hunt has seized me in its clutches, and I’ve found myself going through some of my photos from the past year. As I went through them I realized a few of my favorites never made it to my blog.

The Eastern women’s basketball team fought against Bradley University Monday night but came up one point short in the final seconds losing 66-65 in Lantz Arena.

Following a security lock down at Charleston High School Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, Stacy Stewart, of Charleston, and her daughter Lyndsy Hunt, a freshman at CHS, walk out of the main entrance. The school was locked down at 8:45 a.m. after receiving word from the 911 center concerning phone calls made from inside the building relating to a possible person with a gun. The calls were both confirmed to be called in by a CHS student and not true.
